The Mieminger Badesee is a small but perfectly formed artificial lake with modern facilities and attractions for all the family.
One of the main highlights is its spectacular location on the Mieminger Plateau overlooking the Inntal Valley. Surrounded by open meadows and tall trees providing shade on hot days, the lake has exceptionally clean water as well as plenty of activities for visitors of all ages – and on top of that it is easy to get to and has a free car park.
There are four wooden walkways leading out onto the water and two floating islands in the lake as well as a water trampoline for spectacular tricks. This sporting theme continues on the shore with basketball, slackline, table tennis, table football and badminton all on offer. A more relaxing option is the Kneipp water therapy station or a walk around the lake, while children in search of action can head off to the adventure playground.
After all that running around, why not pay a visit to the Leuchtturm restaurant with its pretty garden and large terrace overlooking the lake? The restaurant serves a range of regional and international food. The Mieminger Badesee also hosts a number of events and concerts throughout the summer.
